Elefee (エレフィ), also known as the Indulgence of Initiation, The Initiator (静謐の免罪符(「イニシエーター」)) is a Void who takes on the form of a fish. She commands Izumi around in the Hollow Night and aids her in battle. She debuted alongside Izumi in UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II [Sys:Celes].

Appearance

Elefee appears to be a large Betta fish with white scales that fade into blue at the edge, light pink patterns around her head, and black, beady eyes.

When fighting, Elefee can turn into a white shawl with a light-pink floral pattern, which Izumi wears.

Personality

Elefee only communicates in sounds that comprise her name, but Izumi is able to understand her clearly. She is described by Izumi as uncommunicative, bossy and mean. Despite that, Elefee doesn't seem to harbor ill will towards Izumi.

Story

UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II [Sys:Celes]

Arcade Mode (アーケードモード)
Elefee accompanies Izumi as both a guide and a weapon throughout the Final Night. Izumi is uneasy about going, but she reluctantly acquiesces due to Elefee's prodding.

They run into Uzuki, who is excited to face them on the battlefield. Izumi mistakes the "prey" Uzuki is talking about to be Elefee and warns her lest she face "divine retribution", but Uzuki clarifies that she is indeed talking about Izumi. She declares her intent on killing Paradox and Aeon, and claims that she'll need to consume Izumi's EXS in order to prepare. Izumi and Elefee prepare to defend themselves.

After they succeed in defeating Kuon, Izumi is ready to enjoy the respite, but Elefee interjects that she still has to seal the door to the Abyss. Dismayed, Izumi vents her frustration to Elefee, who pays her no mind as she swims on ahead.

Abilities

Described by Izumi as a goddess who watches upon the land, Elefee allows Izumi to manipulate water and appears to have an ability related to sealing things, as she and Izumi were able to close up the Abyss.
