Welcome to the UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH series' Wiki!
The following page details the policies one must adhere to as an editor no matter what they are contributing to on the website.
User Conduct
- Please use respectful language and be inclusive in your conduct on the Wiki. Refrain from using abusive, crude, derogatory or profane language here.
- Do not post sexually explicit text or images, or have sexually explicit text or images on your userpage, create pages with obscene or sexually explicit content, or refer to characters with crude or derogatory language on their page and talkpages, even as a joke.
- We do not tolerate spam or vandalism. Any changes of this nature will be reverted and result in an immediate ban.
- Please assume good faith when editing other people's contributions and do not engage in edit wars.
- Please do not use content talkpages for roleplay or off-topic discussion.
- Note: You may use your user talkpages for some degree of communication unrelated to the Wiki, but not full unrelated conversations that could be held elsewhere.
- On the same hand, uploading images solely for them to be used on userpages is strictly forbidden. This is not an image hosting site.
- Please do not move or make drastic changes to any pages, templates, or other code on the Wiki without consulting other moderators or Wiki editors beforehand!
AI-generated Content
- AI-generated content of any form, whether it be images, text, or sound, is completely forbidden on the Wiki. Uploading such material repeatedly will result in an account ban.
Piracy, Mods and Leaked content
- Do not link to piracy sites anywhere on the Wiki or mods to the series' games.
- Likewise, do not put content that has not officially released to the public yet on pages, such as win quotes from a character demo at an event.
- The same is especially true for content that has been datamined from the game files yet remains unused. The website known as The Cutting Room Floor is more befitting of such content, and not this Wiki.
Unofficial material
- Please do not upload fanart or art that you are not completely sure is official, even if it's made by you.
- This rule also applies to edited work such as typeset images as the translation is the translator's intellectual property.
Translation
- Machine translation, no matter the website used to perform it, is completely forbidden.
- Please be aware that due to the nature of the Wiki, expect your translations to be edited by others. If need be, resolve any conflicts that have arised from it in talkpages only, and discuss it civilly.
- Translations hosted on the Wiki must always be directly and immediately credited towards the translator.
- If they are not an editor on the Wiki and the translation comes from an outside source, the outside translator must give written permission first for their work to be hosted here.
